After setting up icloud music library, i am no longer able to see some of music files in itunes rhat weren’t able to be synced to icloud
Are they still there? How do i see them?
They should still be in the iTunes library where the originals exist. In the songs view they should show up with an iCloud status of say duplicate or ineligible. Your should clear your library of true duplicates. For ineligible files look at the possible causes given in About iCloud Music Library icons and status - Apple Support. In some cases you may be able to convert a song to an acceptable format which will then either match or upload.

A song might be ineligible if it wasn't purchased from the iTunes Store, or if the song file is larger than 200 MB, is longer than two hours, or was encoded at 96 Kbps or less.
One approach would be to treat those as say Audiobooks. Then you can sync them to your device if you want.

If they are not excluded then they will be uploaded. Again if you want to keep non-music items out of your iCloud Music Library then changing the media kind to audiobooks or perhaps podcasts is a possible way to go.

What about for audio files that are not music, for which there would not be an iTunes Match? They are mostly lecture recordings, etc.
