10.13.4 update broke a ton of stuff

Ok guys, I'll join the choir of 10.13.4 problems. Just so that the company is being made aware. Recently upgraded to 10.13.4 and all seemed fine (until I restarted). Then problems appeared

Problem #1: IMAP Email no longer working. In Mail I first got a constant prompt for password on my IMAP account. Deleted it and tried to re-set up but I'm ending in an infinite loop after setting up the server addresses, entering my password and then clicking "Done" which turns into a "next" button after clicking. Then the setup wizard is stuck in the "Next" loop forever. Can't create account.

Problem #2: Photo sync stopped working. I see synced Photos on iPhone and iPad but the Mac doesn't pick up the sync anymore. Tried killing the process to no avail.

Problem #3: iCloud Drive sync no longer working. I see the cloud icon in my iCloud Drive folder. trying to download the marked files from the cloud or uploading to the cloud will result in an error message that the operation couldn't be completed.

I've seen tons of other reports against 10.13.4 - so question: When is the next update due? I need the above features back to work

Problem solved. The issue was not the OS X upgrade. It was a miscommunication between our Active Directory Server and the mac. After re-binding the mac to a preferred domain controller all iCloud and IMAP services came back to life. Case closed.

Looks like you are spot-on. EtreCheck reports a problem with pending iCloud Files and the top process is Sophos Antivirus. Could be that this is causing issues - but this is being managed by my company... I'll open an IT ticket (and have to wait...)

EtreCheck version:4.2.1 (4C020)

Report generated:2018-04-19 14:15:59

Download EtreCheck from https://etrecheck.com

Runtime:6:15

Performance:Below Average

Problem:Other problem

Major Issues:

Anything that appears on this list needs immediate attention.

Stuck iCloud- This machine has a large number of pending iCloud transfers.

Minor Issues:

These issues do not need immediate attention but they may indicate future problems.

Clean up- There are orphan files that could be removed.

Unsigned files- There is unsigned software installed. They appear to be legitimate but should be reviewed.

System modifications- There are a large number of system modifications running in the background.

Low performance- EtreCheck report took over 5 minutes to run. This is unusual.
