SD version of movie when I have HD

I am simply trying to play my movie on my school projector and it only allows me to project SD versions of movies. I downloaded the HD version by mistake, so now I don't see a way to change it to SD. I will purchase it again if I need to, but something tells me there should be a way to get the SD version even though I have the HD version??? I tried deselecting the option at the bottom. I tried clicking on the cloud icon. It still downloads only the HD version.

From Download or stream movies and TV shows from the iTunes Store - Apple Support:

Switch a lower-quality video format

  • On your iOS device: Go to Settings > TV > iTunes Videos or Settings > Videos > iTunes Videos, then change your Playback Quality from Best Available to Good.
  • On your Mac: Open iTunes. From the menu bar at the top of your computer screen, choose iTunes > Preferences. Click the Downloads tab, then select "Download high-quality SD videos."
  • On your PC: Open iTunes. From the menu bar at the top of the iTunes window, choose Edit > Preferences. Click the Downloads tab, then select "Download high-quality SD videos."
  • On your Apple TV: Go to Settings > Apps > iTunes Movies and TV Shows, then select Video Resolution to change it from Best Available to Good. You can also choose a specific resolution in Settings > Video and Audio > Resolution.

You can also choose to buy an SD movie or TV show, but it won't include iTunes Extras, or 4K, HDR, or Dolby Vision formats even if you later play it on a device that supports those. To buy an SD video, tap or click "Also Available in SD" on the product page to switch to the SD version, then buy it.
