Spotlight bug report for Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.4
I just upgraded to OS High Sierra and realized two annoying bugs or missing features I had not before.
Both are related to the Spotlight.
Issue 1:
Before it was possible to mark and copy values from the Spotlight preview, which saved me a lot of time in my every day business. Now it's not or only buggy possible.
How to reproduce:
1. Place a .txt/.pdf file anywhere on your Mac
2. Search for the filename with Spotlight
3. Try to mark something by clicking in the preview area
Same behavoir with e-mail contents!
Excepted result (as before on High Sierra):
Double click on a word highlight it as selected and enables me to copy by CMD + C.
Dribble click on a line highlight it as selected and enables me to copy by CMD + C.
Actual result:
Double click on a word DON'T highlight the word and it's not copyable by CMD + C.
Dribble click on a line DON'T highlight the it as selected and enables me to copy by CMD + C.
Issue 2:
Copy a math result or text from Spotlight input field now also is copying the style of the Spotlight window.
1. Type in Spotlight 21+21
2. Copy the line from the input field
3. Open a App like Apple Mail or Pages where style is relevant
4. Create a new Mail/File
5. Paste clipboard
Excepted result (as before on High Sierra):
No style is adapted. Font is same like all other text in the specific area of the document
Actual result:
Style is adapted and massive min. 30px Spotlight text pasted.
