I have 2 notebooks. An ASUS EeeBook, An ACER Aspire One, both have windows 7
I have tried installing, on both, every version of itunes available, none of which
on either pc will allow me access to itunes store

First, you need to be running the most current version of iTunes: iTunes - Download iTunes Now - Apple
Also, there is no iTunes website. You can only sign into iTunes in the iTunes app, so not sure what you are referring to there? And can you explain what you mean by "Home Page"?

Sorry, not clear on what you are asking? Do you have iTunes installed on those devices? If so, what specific issue are you running into? We need clear descriptions and details. "Will not allow" does not describe the problem you are having.

Yes I have, at the moment, the latest itunes installed on both notebooks,
allthough I have tried every different version from 7 to 10
On every one I get the usual homepage but when I click on the store icon
NOTHING!! no error message, NOTHING!!
I tried signing out and back in. I tried going to a seperate web-site to sign in to
itunes store still NOTHING
I'v run out of things to try
No access to itunes store
