Audio to Midi conversion?

I saw earlier threads that said you can turn an audio file into a midi file (with correctable notation!?), but

1. wanted to make sure that is still a feature of the current version. and

2. my audio file is a synth with some harmonic overtones...


would Logic Pro be able to interpret that and do a decent job of it?

Yes, but only for monophonic lines. Polyphonic audio to MIDI conversion is still the "cold fusion of digital audio"...
