What device? OS version?
After what event did it start? OS update? < Ooooops!
This seems to have recurred after several OS updates - both iOS & MacOS - a bug
The solution has been to wait for Apple to fix it in a subsequent update
Two things to do -
- one "passive" > Product Feedback - Apple = Apple will NOT respond but will certainly read it
- get a specialist on the phone = they MAY know a temporary or permanent fix > Contact Apple Support
You will LIKELY need to ask for a supervisory (higher tier) specialist - so have your "story" short & sweet as you will need to repeat it
