How do I improve the voice recognition?

I am experiencing difficulties being understood when attempting to talk to Siri or dictate to Pages. I use an iPad Pro, current update. How can I improve? Does the program learn?

It will help Siri more if you leave your local, Wifi or cellular Internet connection active.

Also, Siri learns more about your voice and vocabulary the more you use Siri dictation.

The Siri dictation learning is a time thing.
