iPhone 6 with BMW Snap-In Adapter

Hi,

Recently I bought a Snap-in Adapter to use my iPhone 6 connected to my BMW F25,

Among a lot of issues that arise, one was mind boggling;

It does not play music although the photo art and the music details appear on the screen. It is as if the audio was deactivated once the phone is connected to the car....

Anyone can help with this?

Using car play via usb, I start a journey listening to music and within no more than a few minutes the music stops playing through the car and then starts coming out of the phone. car play IOS 13 Since "upgrading" to iOS 13, now at 13.1.2, Car Play has been a total mess. I have had the phone reboot several times while connected - uncommanded. Pandora is particularly a problem. When I get a phone call and it goes to the car speaker Pandora will only play through the center dashboard speaker after the call. A phone reboot is required to get stereo sound back. Randomly the dashboard display for fuel mileage, navigation, maintenance status, etc. will switch to the phone as if a call has come in. It was working perfectly on OS 12. The car is a 2019 Honda Insight. This is my first iPhone. I was expecting much better.

Aux connection I’ve purchased an aux adapter in order to play music from my phone onto my car but it’s not working. Do I have to do something in my settings to switch it on or do I have to upload the latest iOS software....... please help
