I have an iPad mini and couldn't download the Netflix app. It's requesting for iOS 10 or later and my current version is up to date. How can I download it please?

There are still a handful of iOS 9 and earlier supported third party Web browsers.

Most of these have had recent updates, too!

You will have to try just using the actual YouTube Website and log into your account that way.

If YouTube videos still won't play from the YouTube Website in the iOS Safari Web browser, you really should just STOP USING this over 3-year old, unsupported Web browser and try using another, still iOS 9 supported third party Web browser.

Here are a few third party web browsers that I know are STILL being updated and supported on iOS 9.

Available and more popular third party Web browser choices are dwindling faster, now.

If still viewing YouTube on your older iPad is still a problem, then, I am afraid, it is time for a new or discounted, refurbished iPad from Apple

This thread is getting ridiculous. An iPad with 9.3.5/9.3.6 is too old for modern apps. They simply cannot run your desired application anymore, those older iPads are either 2011 or 2012.

The simple solution is to buy a current gen iPad that supports every app in the App Store.

Some people simply can't afford to replace these very old iPads or are in a situation where they cannot, currently, just go out and purchase a new or refurbished iPad.

Also, no way to know, but some users, who post questions like this , could simply be kids trying to use older, “handed down” iPads.

I try to, at least, help with older iPad users, when a possibility of a workaround exists for these older devices.

It is not ridiculous.

Not going to happen any longer.

Sorry.

While Netflix corporation still supports all of their older versions of their app, all the way back to iOS 5.1.1, Netflix corporation has removed all of their older Netflix app versions from Apple's iOS App Store servers.

These older Netflix app versions are gone, now.

Sorry. It is what it is at this very late date.

If you need an iPad that can run the latest and greatest versions of iOS, as well as, the most current apps available, then, you will need to purchase a new iPad from Apple or a discounted, refurbished iPad from Apple’s Refurbished & Clearance section of Apple’s Website.

In response to everyone’s answers I’ve experienced this problem twice with my daughters iCloud account on older devices and even when I try with her newer device and switch back to the older device the download still wasn’t available. This download was available in older more compatible one with device if I use my iCloud account which happens to be far more older than my daughters...the older the iCloud account the better...

I am not sure what you are trying to state, but older versions of Netflix have been permanently removed by Netflix and are no longer available for initial download from the iOS App Store and have been removed.

The older Netflix versions and can no longer be restore if the older version Netflix app has been removed from older iOS device.

It is no longer possible to get many. MANY older versions of popular, third party apps, for iOS 9 or 10 any longer from the iOS App Store and this inevitability will only be getting worse in 2020.

These old iPad 2, 3, 4 and 1st gen iPad Mini models are nearing 8 and 9-years old, now.

As of the beginning of 2019, many, MANY third party app developers are all more quickly and completely dropping older app support for all old 7, 8 and 9-year iPads that are running 2-3 year old and earlier iOS versions.

Third party app developers are removing all of their older, legacy versions of their apps from Apple's App Store servers, now.

Older versions of apps are going to be gone for good, now!

Getting older versions of app for these old iPad models, initially from Apple’s iOS App Store is getting to be very difficult and problematic, now, and will only be getting much worse in 2020.

These old iPads are now reaching their complete end of life and support.

Old iPads that can no longer be upgraded/updated will have NO MORE APPS AVAILABLE for initial download, at all, soon, from the Apple iOS App Store, for such old iOS devices in the very near future.

Older versions of apps for older iPads will be completely gone, very soon!

This is now the time to seriously consider a new or discounted, refurbished iPad from Apple or other Apple authorised resellers.

Sorry & Best of Luck to You!
