family sharing

I'm the organizer for my family sharing group, I can approve or deny a purchase via the "Ask to Buy" option for members under age 17. How can I enforce this for members over 17 year age? I have some members in my group buying apps that I do not want to pay for, I need to approve their purchases prior to them buying it.

Enable Ask to Buy on Family Purchases I have Family Sharing and Ask to Buy enabled on my child's account. I recently discovered my child could download apps that were purchased by me and made available via Family Sharing without having to request my permission to install on their device. All non Family Sharing apps require my approval, but there are some apps that I have that I don't necessarily want her to have access to. Is there a way to require Ask to Buy on Family Purchases for minors?

family sharing approve spending money I don't think I'm understanding the family sharing correctly - it seems that you either can ask to approve apps installed on your kids iphone, or not approve. Which would be insane - I can't think of any parent ever who would want either of those options? I, like probably every other parent out there, just wants to have control over my kids _spending any money_. Anything they can do for free is fine by me. How do I set that up?

Currently, there is no way to add Ask to Buy for someone 18 and older. If you want to make that suggestion to Apple, send feedback. They don't reply to feedback.
