My vectorworks 2013 has stopped working since updating to 10.13.4 and so has my MS Word which is current

Can anyone help as since the update Vectorworks 2013 has stopped working and so has MS word. Although its a 2013 to update is £1000's, however word is the latest as its from microsoft 365
