Airdrop doesn't open

I recently upgraded to macOS High Sierra. I have Macbook Pro (2012). When I try opening airdrop from Finder, this message appears: “domain-AirDrop” can’t be opened because the original item can’t be found.

How can I make it function well?

airdrop on macbook pro I seem to be completely unable to use airdrop on my 2015 MacBook Pro. My laptop is not an option for anyone who wants to share items with me, and there is no way for me to share items with anyone else. airdrop is not an option on the sharing menu, although it should be. It is selected to be an option in the sharing menu in the Extensions part of Settings.I'm not sure if opening AirDrop from spotlight is supposed to do anything, but when I try, I receive an error message saying that the item can't be found. I'm not sure what to do, AirDrop has worked in the past, but it does not anymore. Thanks! Andrew

Airdrop Airdrop is not listed on my MacbookPro El Capitan in Finder/Preferences/Sidebar. It just isn't here. Nor anywhere else on the laptop. Should it be? I cannot d/l software for it from the Apple store because the store refuses to let me in. But that's a very long-standing problem that apple support has spent more than 10 hours trying without success to solve. So I need airdrop software from elsewhere.

Airdrop Doesn't Work on Mac Hi,I have a Macbook Pro 13 Early 2011 (which is supported officially by Apple for Airdrop any MacBook pro from 2008 on except the early 2008 mac pro 17).I don't see the allow to be discovered button when opening the airdrop tab in finder.What's the deal here Apple you used to say that "It Just Works"Come on were gonna get broke if we buy every new product you put on shelves just to be able to use the options that were available on our devices.Dunno what else to say here.If any apple support counselor sees this please help this is really affecting my work flow ever since the High Sierra update.Sincerely, Jonah
