HomePod Flashing '- +" and not responding.

This morning, my HomePod started flashing - + and that's it. It no longer responds to commands and in the Home App it shows as "not responding." I tried to reset it, I unplugged it and plugged it back in, then pressed on the screen while it turned red, but then it just went back to - + without any sounds or anything. I removed it from the Home App, but it doesn't show up as new and try to pair like it did when new.

Any ideas? Do I need to take it to the Apple Store? (It's never been dropped or even moved, and it has worked 100% flawlessly until this morning.)
