QC20 vs QC20i Bose Headphones

Hi,

I purchased a Bose QC20 headphone primarily to use with my iPhone 7 Plus although I have Android devices also. As soon as I tried it with my iPhone 7 plus, i started hearing a clicking sound which then sounded like my heartbeat as soon as i played music. I visited some forums and found that one of the fix is to press the volume button for 1-2 sec. It works. However the control buttons do not work. I need to use my iPhone volume and call button for the controls.

I checked and found that QC20 is primarily designed for Android device and that QC20i is an iOS compatible headphone. I have following questions:

1. Is there the clicking/heartbeat sound issue in the QC20i?

2. Do the control buttons on QC20i work while using it with iPhone 7Plus?

3. Is there any issues reported while using QC20i with Android phones?

I am thinking of returning back the QC20 and try getting QC20i, depending on the answers to the above questions.

Thanks for your help.
