Is there an app that does automated backup to icloud?

I currently have a subscription to an automated backup service with Mozy. Once a day my hard drive is backed up to their cloud server. My understanding is that iCloud can sync between devices, and files can be stored on the iCloud as if it were an external hard drive, but that it does not do a scheduled backup like the Mozy service. Is that so, and if so, is there an app that can perform this type of backup? (BTW I also use Time Machine on two separate hard disks, belts and suspenders so to speak).
