iPhone 8 Plus Camera & Flashlight not working

I noticed a couple of hours ago that the flashlight on my iPhone wasn't working. I then tapped the camera button and found that the camera is not working on either side. When switching to video, it displayed an error saying that flash was disabled and my iPhone needs to cool down before I can use flash. It no longer displays this message, but I don't use flash very often and wasn't using it prior to seeing that message.

I turned off and turned my iPhone back on. It didn't work. I then did a force restart. That didn't work either. I did not do a factory reset, anticipating that it won't work either.

I did an online chat with Apple, who did a diagnostic and quickly said it was an hardware issue. He then set an appointment at a Best Buy which is authorized by Apple to do repairs. Since I bought this phone a month ago, it's covered under warranty and it can be replaced for free if necessary, but I'm wondering if this is a common issue with this particular type of iPhone.

It can still do screenshots which is why I was able to attach a screenshot of the camera.
