Connecting Yamaha Genos to Logic Pro X to record midi

I have connected my Genos to LPX by USB cable. I can record a track with all midi on but when I expand each channel, some of my instruments don't play correctly. For example, the drum track has a piano playing along. I have muted each track, solo'd them to try and locate the problem but obviously I'm not doing something right.

What I want to do is record each track and have it play back through my Genos. Can anyone help me out here please?

In my previous DAW (digital Performer) I was able to clearly see all of the Midi activities for all ports and channels and I could separately input those channels.In Logic Pro: 1. How to record sound and midi data from external keyboard (Roland FP-30) to Logic Pro without dealing with audio? I just want to understand if there is a way to simply route the sound and midi data generated from my Roland FP-30 keyboard directly onto a software instrument channel in Logic Pro X, without having to worry about any sort of audio tracks? I currently have it plugged in to my computer via USB, and it works fine as a midi keyboard with other plugins. I'm sure I'm missing an important step, such as not connecting it properly, etc. I'm just not certain as to what. Any help would be hugely appreciated, thanks!

step by step midi plugin please been through the net and couldn't figure it out guys I have imac with Logic Pro x and I have Yamaha e453 now I plug it through the square usb {the output in the keyboard}now when I record from the keyboard first of all I hear it through the keyboard speakers and not from the Mac secondly after I record and unplug the keyboard I can't listen to the track through the Mac no matter what settings I try to change it only allow me hear if I plugin the keyboard again and through its speakers need to say that If I plug the keyboard and use it not with external midi but with software inst it works fine and I can control the sounds and I hear everything through the mac but I want to use the keyboard features which I like to record into logic THANKS!
