I have tried many times to delete a page from a photo book in Photos following the instructions, but it will not delete. I can add pages, but not delete them. I now have 36 pages -- 6 of them blank! Help, please!

Are you using Photos or iPhoto? You mention both applications.

Delete a page from a book: Click the page to select it and press Delete, or click the Add Page button in the toolbar, choose Remove Page, then click Continue. You can also Control-click the page, choose Remove Page, then click Continue.

Lets start with details - you state that you have OS X 10.4.3 - is that correct? If not what version of the OS and of iPhoto do you have? What are the "instructions' you are following and what is happening when you follow them?
