How do I cancel a subscription that won’t give me the ‘cancel subscription’ option?

If the subscription says it will expire on a particular date you've stopped its auto-renewal. If you then tap on one of the price options you are likely to re-start the subscription again so would need to stop it again.

I agree with you ! So frustrating and there is no cancel option !

I am definitely am frustrated because on one the Dropbox pages it says it renews if you do not cancel before the expiration date . It feels like a scam ! I called my credit card company and told them I am not authorizing any payment

You cannot cancel (again) something that has already been cancelled, or doesn't exist. If a subscription lists an expiry date or subscription options, but no renewal date, then there is nothing to cancel.

I have not had my iphone 7 for over 10 months now and have asked for

1. If you are geing charged, then you must still have an active subscription somewhere.
2. This is a user to user forum. You are not addressing Apple Support here. As such, requesting a refund here is pointless, we cannot give you one.
3. If you have not done so, you need to cancel the Taxbot subscription on your account. Follow the steps here: See or cancel your subscriptions - Apple Support
4. Contact Apple Support and request a refund directly from them once you have correctly cancelled the subscription: Request a Refund - Apple Support
