New job, previous employee's missing password
I just started a new job and the Mac Pro I've inherited from the previous employee still has all his old sign on information, admin, apple ID is still signed on, everything. Our IT department is used to working on Windows so they have no idea how to help me. Because I can't sign him out (because I don't have his admin password), no updates are coming through and I've starting having serious issues with working on the machine. Is there a way to unlock and delete his profiles and log in without his passwords? Do I need to wipe the whole Mac and reset to factory?
Any suggestions are appreciated. I don't want to loose my position just because I can't get such a simple thing to work.
