The lock screen on my IPhone X is much darker or dimmer than normal and the shortcuts aren’t working. I have 3D touch turned on but the flashlight and camera shortcuts aren’t working and I can’t swipe open a message from the lock screen either. I can swipe up to open but that’s it. Darkness / dimness goes away when I open the phone. Any ideas? Tried rebooting and turning on and off 3D Touch already.

If your display doesn't respond, you might need to force restart your device:
- On an iPhone X, iPhone 8, and iPhone 8 Plus: Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Then press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Then press and hold the Side button until you see the Apple logo.
- On an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus: Press and hold both the Side and Volume Down buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
- On an iPhone 6s and earlier, iPad, or iPod touch: Press and hold both the Home and the Top (or Side) buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
I’m only having the darkness and touch problems on the lock screen. Once I swipe up to open the phone the brightness is at its normal level and touch issues are gone. Only the lock screen is dim and lock screen shortcuts don’t work. Any idea why I would only have these problems on the lock screen? It’s very strange.
