Can I use an Ipod nano 7th gen with two iMacs?

Hello

I am giving my niece an iPod Nano 7th gen as a gift for her 8th birthday. To load it with her music, have made a user account on my iMac in her name, then uploaded the CDs she likes, and then synced with her iPod also on her name.

Now my brother (her father) also has an iMac, and i was wondering if (without starting anythin too complex) - he could also make her a user on his iMac, and being able to sync/upload her iPod from there too.

Sorry but we are new to the iTunes/iPod world, and my question may be naive

Not without removing all the content you have added.

The iPod is designed to Sync with just one Library at a time. If your brother connects the iPod to his computer he will see a message asking if he wants to remove existing content and replace it with content form "his" Library.

A better idea might be to give the iPod to your brother so that he can add cntent from his computer and then give the iPod to your niece as a present from you.
