Gmail saves multiple drafts in the "All Mail" mailbox on my Mac

I am revisiting this topic... when I reply to an email my Gmail app saves multiple drafts of the message but they appear to be back ups because they occur after each sentence is composed or maybe even after 5-10 words have been typed. In other words an email reply that my be a short paragraph long will have 15-20 "drafts" saved in my All Mail mailbox. There are no drafts saved in my Draft folder or my sent folder, just the All Mail folder. Although it doesn't seem to create performance issues, it is just annoying and bulky to have 550 emails in my All Mail folder when only 50-100 of them are legit. I have read in previous posts that this is simply a glitch between Gmail and Apple mail and each company blames the other for the problem. Anyone come up with a fix yet??

I also have this issue, very annoying! I also find that my Notes app is saving into my Mail.app - and like 35 - 40 drafts/back-ups of each note. So if I search for a key word that I know I've only written one or two emails regarding, I get 50 odd search returns from the Notes as well.

Anyone know how to avoid Notes coming up when you search in Mail?

Thanks!
