Why is a category called “system” taking up a lot of space
hi, when I go to iPod storage I see a category called “system” and it’s taking up a lot of spac. Any fixes?

System is iOS and its data structures. That much space allocated to System means that you have data corruption on your iPod. You should restore it using iTunes on your computer.

Ok, but when it erases through iOS doesn’t it erase the hard disk?
First, there is no hard disk in an iPhone.
Erase all content and settings removes all user content. It does not replace iOS. Only restoring through iTunes replaces iOS.
