Issues after RAM upgrade

Hello. I have a Mac Pro Early 2009 Nehalem. 3.33 Ghz 8-core 4.1. Currently have 1066MHz DDR3 ECC SDRAM Nvidia GT 120 and AMD Radeon Windforce 3g graphics card. Running El capitan. I recently bought a 32 g OWC RAM kit. 4x8 g. I added the 32 g to my 16 g OWC 4x4 g memory, following installation recommendations. Since then, my computer has been extremely slow, and I have been experiencing many issues. All RAM is being recognized. Please help! Thanks, Nate

Stand-alone memory testing is not needed on the Mac Pro with Xeon Processor. Its memory features error correction, and either works or the machine halts on a distinctive kernel panic.
