Any option to use multiple monitors on imac?

Hey guys, I will be purchasing an imac soon, not sure which year imac I will purchase but looking into this issue first, any way for me to add 2 monitors to an imac? To clarify, I am not seeking to extend the view of the imac but rather I need to edit docs separately on each monitor, any ideas please? I had a dual monitor option in win10 on my XPS desktop so I need something similar just with 2 separate monitors.

"Simultaneously supports full native resolution on the built-in display at millions of colors (21.5-inch) or 1 billion colors (21.5-inch 4K) and:

One 5120‑by‑2880 (5K) external display at 60Hz with support for 1 billion colors, or

Two 3840-by-2160 (4K UHD) external displays at 60Hz with support for 1 billion colors, or

Two 4096‑by‑2304 (4K) external displays at 60Hz with support for millions of colors"

The external displays can mirror the internal display, or can show separate content.
