iMovie Won't Export To 1080p.

I'm trying to upload a video to Youtube and I can't export it to 1080p. It has an image in the video that is also 1080p. I have even tried starting a new project and putting it in first multiple times and it still won't let me pick 1080p. How do I fix this? I am currently using version 10.1.9

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), iOS 8.1.3

If you can share at 1080p to your desktop, do that and drag the shared movie into You Tube's upload window.

You can also try opening iMovie while holding down the Option and Command keys and then selecting to delete preferences in the box that appears. Sometimes that cures glitches.
