Why can’t I watch movies I’ve already purchased?

i have an Apple TV and have movies I’ve bought prior to taking my credit card info off of my Apple ID. I’m wondering why it is that I can’t watch movies I’ve alreadu purchased through you. It seems a little unreasonable. I’m currently unemployed so I took my credit info off of all of my apps. I paid full price for these movies and I’m a little upset that I can’t even watch them.

If you changed your payment plan to None, then that would have no consequence for already purchased items. If there is no dispute over unpaid bills, then you should be able to use your Apple ID for whatever you like. A credit card is optional: some people purchase with Gift Cards and have no (active) credit card or debit card on file, which is all fine.

Perhaps there is a different reason why you don’t see past purchases, perhaps settings, and the credit card is unrelated, only correlated in the time frame.
