Radeon Pro WX 7100 Driver not installed?

The article Use an external graphics processor with your Mac - Apple Support states that the AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100 is now supported, but system information is showing that the driver is not installed?

I understand from your post that you are not seeing a driver installed for the AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100. In a situation like this make sure your macOS software is up to date. If so, try a new user account to see if the same issue shows up.

Is your Mac equipped with Thunderbolt3? If not,

eGPU is not supported.

If it does have Thunderbolt3, have you checked with the manufacturer

for a compatible driver?

Thunderbolt 3 is recommend, not required.

The article I referenced from Apple explicitly states "eGPUs are supported on MacBook Pro notebooks released in 2016 and later¹"

From the notes "1. If you're using a 13-inch MacBook Pro from 2016 or later, always plug eGPUs and other high-performance devices into the left-hand ports for maximum data throughput."

I am running 10.13.5 Beta (17F66a).

I tried from a test account and no change.
