Apple 2M USB/Lightning Cable Issues

As others have questioned before, I also have issues with the Apple 2M length USB to Lightning cable. I bought two genuine Apple versions and neither fully charges my iPad Pro 12.9 inches beyond say 80%. As soon as I change to the 1M length (the charger being the same) the charge percentage on the iPad starts to increase in very short order. Then I changed to a 3rd party (braided) 2M cable and it also charged the iPad Pro speedily.

I, therefore, suspect the Apple 2M cables to be deficient somehow, and I would like others to verify my findings.
