MacBook 'scheduled to sleep' when it isn't

Often when opening the lid, but sometimes right in the middle of working with my MacBook Pro it will warn me "This computer has been scheduled to go to sleep automatically." With the usual countdown plus the "cancel" and "sleep" buttons.

Looking at solutions offered in earlier discussions I tried both the NVRAM and SMC resets (in that order) but still get the message at least once a day.

Energy saver for both Battery and Power Adapter have default settings and there is no schedule set for sleep and/or wake (and never has been).

Apple support has looked into it and pointed at iDrive backup software as the culprit, but when the software was removed completely the problem persisted.

My previous attempt at finding a solution was a year ago, so perhaps someone has new insights that can help me?

There is high probability that iDrive is indeed the culprit. This was confirmed a year ago by Apple when I first looked into this problem. The mentioning of 'iDrive' triggered an e-mail archive search and I came by an Apple Support ticket I had back than where Apple pointed to iDrive also. Had forgotten about that, because I switched to Carbonite after that. Now my Carbonite subscription has ended, I switched to iDrive again, but they haven't improved it seems.

I'll open a ticket at their side too (again).

Try running this program in your normal user account, then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by etresoft, a frequent contributor. Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy Report” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown.
