Why can't play Youtube (some music/radio apps) in background or in lock screen in iOS11 (iPhone7). cant do multi task. I mean while we doing another activity (we are not looking at phone), we can't listening to music using youtube or some musical app. also for youtube we have to keep phone ON (unlock screen) to listen to music regardless.
other con is battery drained quick as uselessly.

If you don't pay for YouTube's subscription service, you can't stream in the background.
The YouTube app is a 3rd party app. We would have no knowledge of they they coded their app to work the way they did. One might surmise, the app is a Video Streaming service and videos wouldn't likely stream well on a locked screen, but that's just me guessing. You'd need to reach out to YouTube to ask.

There you go. I didn't even know they had a paid subscription service. I need another paid subscription service like I need a lobotomy!
