I have an iPhone 8 plus and when attached to my Windows 10 laptop and in iTunes I cannot see the Apps icon/link under the Summary in the left hand menu column. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a simple solution?

As far as I'm aware, the OS on the phone and on the laptop are the latest and iTunes is also up to date.
