My iPhone 7 Plus has been duplicating a screen record video over 200 times. I have to delete over 100 videos a day of duplicates. I’ve even erased the original and cleared my recently deleted but to no avail. It’s a bother to delete the videos over and over again. I am Running iOS 11.3.1.
I took a Screen Recording of an Instagram chat and the video started duplicating. I tried Force Close all Apps and Restart my iPhone but it didn’t work. So I deleted Instagram and the problem got fixed. I downloaded Instagram again and nothing happened. Maybe this helps you.

Hey, this is isn’t a Apple problem, it’s actually just a bug in Instagram that when screen recording on IG it messes up the photos app.
Anyway, the simple fix is just delete than re-install Instagram.
I had to reset my phone and it fixed the problem.
The same thing has been happening to me! I have to delete 10 videos a day and at this point I’ve deleted at least 1,000 in total. I try to delete it from my recently deleted too so that it has no way to duplicate but it’s still not working
My phone is doing the same thing. I tried the suggestion and it isn’t working. I even went into I
iCloud.com to delete it from there.

I have a problem with this but it’s with Snapchat recording, do u think a uninstall and reinstall would work as well
