Siri will not shut up!

macOS 10.13.4. I have not enabled Siri, but it still reads notices, interrupting my audio recording sessions. How can I stop this annoyance completely?

Hi,

Double check your settings in System Preferences > Siri.

You can also set how apps notify you--including turning off annoying alert sounds--with System Preferences > Notifications:

Thanks, Alan. I had no idea. Like most, I turned off Siri in preferences but never considered notifications. I turned them all off.
