WWE Network playback bug since tvOS update to 11.3

I have noticed a bug with the WWE Network Apple TV app on my Apple TV 4K since the latest firmware update to tvOS version 11.3. What will happen is I will play a program from beginning to end from the on-demand library with no issue, but when the countdown to play the next episode or event runs it’s course, the next show will play, but the audio will play ahead of where the video is, meaning the video will be out of sync with the audio.


I am not new to streaming devices and reached out to WWE directly to report the issue first and gave them all the information, ran through speed tests and such. Other apps on my Apple TV aren’t experiencing this issue, but I was ultimately told that they couldn’t replicate the issue and to seek out Apple directly. I am not having any issue whatsoever with the device, it is a great device and does what I need it to do, but the only thing I have been able to come across to report this bug, is via Apple’s feedback page, so I thought I would give this a try and see if someone here might be able to point me in the right direction.


As I explained to WWE, the app has two different app version listings, with the Apple TV app store listing the app as version 1.0.2 with the last update listed as Apr. 18, 2016, but within the app itself it lists the app version as version 1.10.5. The Apple TV 4K is my first Apple TV device and from what I understand, this device allows app developers to develop their own apps as opposed to using a device’s standard UI. I can only assume this is why WWE wanted me to reach out to Apple, because I assume the UI of the WWE Network app is Apple’s standard and seeing as there is a difference in the app version listings that it might be something Apple needs to address with regard to the bug. I didn’t notice any problems prior to the 11.3 firmware update which was about a month or so ago maybe a little longer.


My question is, would anyone here in the community know anything about how to report app bugs beyond the feedback page and if so, can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.
