I've got the exact same problem with my wife's 2015 27" iMac. Have been thru all of the procedures, SMC, NVRAM, Hardware Test, Safe Mode, etc. with no solution. Contacted AppleCare and they confirmed that we've tried all of the usual repair methods. Taking it in to the Genius Bar this afternoon and hope all it will need is a new power supply. That should be a quick repair as my wife is freaking out - she uses it for her teaching at the local college.

So you should take it into the Genius Bar for a free diagnostic check. It's probably out of warranty so you can look into doing the repair yourself or let Apple do out or at an Apple Authorized Service Provider.
