My Apple TV is connected to my Bose system.
I should be able to say
"Hey Siri, Tell Apple TV to play some B.B. King"
It is all on the same network and same Apple ID.
This should be a no-brainer.

At this point in time Siri on HomePod cannot be used to control Apple TV. Use Feedback - HomePod - Apple to request it.

Yes, it works just fine but it does not accept a command to control the Apple TV.

Hey Siri, Tell Apple TV to open Netflix
etc
You're welcome. And yes anything you could do with Siri on the Apple TV's Siri remote should be possible via the HomePod.
