Hi all,
I recently performed a full backup from my old iPhone 6 (running iOS 11.2.5) to iTunes. I tried to restore this backup to another iPhone 7 (running iOS 11.3.1) but it got stuck at the Apple logo screen with a full progress bar for over 8 hours. What should I do? BTW, I have tested on another iPhone6S (running iOS 11.3.1) but the same happened.

Your iTunes version?
Make sure you have updated iTunes to 12.7.4 or later
Thanks for your reply. I have tried the latest iTunes 12.7.4.76 on Mac and also 12.7.4.80 on Windows7 platform but no luck. Any other idea?
Thanks for your reply. Tried a few times but the restore still failed. Last night I upgraded the iPhone7 to iOS 11.4 but it still not worked. Do you have any idea?
When using Windows, make sure all anti-virus/firewall is off before you start
Well, there is something in your backup that stop the restoring process.

Thanks for your reply. I have a few thousand photos/songs/videos, around 500 apps. I am now deleting some apps to narrow down the issue.
