Can't type password to start Macbook Pro 2017.

I opened the lid on my Macbook Pro 13" laptop and tried to type in my password. Nothing happened! My MBP is frozen. I tried several times to no avail. I bought this computer Feb. 25, 2018! Please help...

1. Reset NVRAM/PRAM couple of times. http://support.apple.com/kb/PH18761

2. Reset SMC. Choose the method for “If the battery is non-removable”.
