Relative volume automation and absolute fader not working

I can't understand why, if I insert some relative volume automation in a track. then the absolute volume fader movements made in real time don't take any effects.... unless I stop and re-start the song

automation ignored I have a strange issue with one of my Logic projects. I use automation for the volume on each of the tracks. But one of them is acting weird. When I play the song, the volume automation is ignored in that one track. The other track play perfectly fine, with all the automation working as should, but in this one track, the imported audio is played at the standard volume, as if I didn’t do adjustments. When I leave it playing, and just move a random point of the automation line a tiny bit, the volume immediatly goes to how I intended it and is keeps on playing like I wanted. But when I pause and continue playing, the volume is without the automation again. It’s quite frustrating. I tried copying the track to a new one, but without any result. Could this be a bug, or could there be a setting that I’m not aware of?(automation isn't switched off for the track)

Volume automation on vocal audio track has no effect??? As you can see from this video, volume automation that I created for this vocal track brings the sound output down, but as the VU meter shows, the track is still clipping... Garageband 10.3.1 Where are the automation fade options ? been a while since I used GB. Just trying to get that yellow line up on each track (and the master) to adjust the volume and fade of each track and cant find the option anywhere. All I have up in the "track" menu in the header are options to show/hide arrangement, movie , transposition and tempo- but the volume option is missing. How do I access this please. Cant believe its changed that much or I must be missing something really obvious. All I want to do is manipulate the fade of each track and the overall song.
