Now Playing Button gone from Touch Bar

Just got a new MacBook Pro with Touch Bar running Mac OS Sierra (10.13.3) When I first starting using it the touch bar showed a scrubber for whatever's playing (looks like a white circle with a little graph thing in it). It's gone now. I think it is called the Now Playing Button. How do I get it back?
