My home button on my 6s plus has been burning up for the past two days when my phone is inactive. It’s almost too hot to touch. After one restart the touch id stopped working. After a second restart it still didn’t work. After a third restart it started working again, but now my battery drains in a matter of hours with minimal usage. Is there a fix for this?
I had my battery replaced. My home button still heats up. It isn’t as warm, but still gets toasty, even when not in use. My battery isn’t draining as fast either, but definitely doesn’t last as long as a new battery should. There has to be something more going on, but I think I will just deal with it now. I’m thinking this is only a temporary fix.
