Move Aux track in the mixer window.

Is it possible in the mixer window, to move an aux track so it sits next to the feeder channel strip?

Its a pain in the.. if you have a big mix and have to scroll over to the aux track to make changes..

Is it possible to move the Aux/instrument track so they are beside each other?

School boy question I know sorry :/

Thanks..

Unfortunately you cannot move channel strips around in the mixer - they are ordered left to right according to the order of the tracks top to bottom. So you can only move Aux strips that have arrangement tracks, otherwise they are automatically placed and stay there. However, there are ways to solve this: you can just make tracks for all you aux, order those tracks so your auxes are ordered the way you want them, then you can hide all those aux tracks, or put them in a folder or track stack.

Another approach to quickly find the complete routing of one track (so including all auxes it sends to) is to use Single view like this:

hmmmm doest seem a bit of a fudge... when in the arrangement window you can move tracks around and the changes are reflected in the mixer window.. Never really got my head around the single/track/all options either... think this is one area that logic is weak in... or perhaps its me 😉

Just a quick thought, would putting the channel and the aux in the same group then go single view and they would show together?
