Deleting local storage and data bases

To clear website data , generally the method used is click on finder and take cursor on top menu bar , click on clear history and clear all history and website data .It will delete all back history and what ever the user browsed ( in the form of cookies ) .

The main question is if I enter in user library > click on safari folder > there are two folders local storage and data bases .

Are these folder contents to be deleted and why .

Pease explain it .

Safari - does "Clear History" also remove stored data? I wanted to remove all website data. Instead I clicked "Clear History." Which I think mainly removes the list of sites I've been to. Then I read to actually remove those sites' data, you have to click "Remove All Website Data." And then delete the websites that show up in that list as having website data on your machine. However, since I had already clicked "Clear History", all those websites were gone from the "Remove All Website Data" list. So I couldn't select them to clear their data. Does that mean that "Clear History" also removes all the website data too? Or is that data now stuck on my machine somewhere and I can't delete it? Apple's own article seems to say "Clear History" does not remove website data, like cookies and cache, etc. I want to delete all cookies, cache and any other stuff left behind by those websites. Safari data and documents Hi. How do I delete the data and documents from safari? I have cleared almost everything but the memory size is still the same. Please help

Delete documents and data from Safari I have more than 2gb in my documents and data in Safari and no way of deleting that I can find. All website and browsing info is gone yet no difference. Have been searching for advice online but no joy. Please help!
