Has anyone found a solution yet to the awful battery drain problem resulting from the iOS update?

There definitely is an "awful battery drain problem" for many iphone users. Try google search "iOS11.4 battery drain"!
My 6s was working fine. The day after the 11.4 update I couldn't make it half way through a typical work day.
I went to the Applestore and bought a new battery and it didn't help.
If I fully charge the phone before bed, unplug it, put in on do not disturb, lock it and go to sleep when I wake up after 8hrs it has only 15% remaining.
I've optimized mail, turned off localization, turned brightness all the way down and deleted as many apps as I can to no avail.
Just because it's not happening to you doesn't mean it's not happening to others.
It has happened to me this morning. I never saw the battery go down so fast on my iPhone X
