iPhone Keypad not recogized when in Nissan Maxima Carplay

I have a 2017 Maxima. When i have my iphone connected through carplay and I’m on a call my keypad inputs from the phone are not recognized. This is most painful when i need to enter a passcode for a conference call. Im forces to unplug the cord and go to bluetooth to enter the passcode. On bluetooth the keypad sounds are recognized without a problem.

Same problem with iOS 14.1. Operator: BT Mobile. I need to enter digits to navigate through the usual automated menu systems but before I can, the keypad disappears. I can press Home button to get back the keypad momentarily but then it disappears or is unresponsive to the digits. If I'm lucky I can get it to accept a digit. This is not confined to one particular phone number. It is not resolved by powering off/on the iPhone. Anyone else having this serious issue? Thanks in advance, David

IOS 14.2 Carplay knob button input bug Anyone having problem with Carplay after the IOS 14.2 update with the knob car button? I cant seem to use the main knob to “enter” for my Mazda CX3 2017. Everthing else - knob dial, side music, map or home button are all working expect for the main center knob button. Even touchscreen works out fine. Please help.

Feature Request - Speaker button on the phone should just switch to handsfree/speaker mode without popping up a stupid menu. There is plenty of space on that screen.
