How do I make my Mac on OSX10.13.4 use skype as default for phone calls?

Today my MacBook Pro has started opening FaceTime from Google Map results instead of Skyp. When I go to preferences for Face Time there is no longer a "default" optoin to change as was mentioned in previous answeres to this question and i can't find an option in Skyp to make it the default, nor can I find anything of use in the main system preferences.

I want to continue to be able to call land lines directly from google seach results like I always did until today.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015), macOS High Sierra (10.13.4), Powered by Biodiesel :)
