Why don’t my beats earbuds work with iPhone 7

I paid 129.00 for beats earbuds and now I have an iPhone 7 and it says they are not supported what is it with you people? Just trying to get more money out of me? I want an answer as to why headphones that are your company don’t work

There is nothing to reset. They are wired beats not wireless. When I use the ****** adapter to plug my earbuds in they play for a min then I get a message that says they are not supported. Apple owns beats so why not tell people before they buy an iPhone 7 that previous beats you own are not supported. Can I get a reply from someone at apple or do they just ignore this site?

This is.a user-to-user technical support site, Apple engineers aren't here.

Are you using the Lightning to 3.5 adapter that came with your iPhone? If yes, get a flashlight and check the Lightning port on your iPhone and clean out any debris that you find in there. If that does not work your adapter is probably defective, exchange it.
